Boston Legal is a spin-off of the long-running Kelley series The Practice, following the exploits of former Practice character Alan Shore (James Spader) at the legal firm of Crane, Poole and Schmidt.

Release Date: 2 Oct. 2007Against all odds, new lawyer Katie Loyd and Jerry win their unwinnable murder trial. Alan is impressed by their victory. Shirley invites Lorraine to join the firm as a new associate. Denny lusts after the new associate and immediately invites her to sleep with him! Alan warns Denny to stay away from Lorraine and then has sex with her in the office!! Alan declines Judge Gloria Weldon's offer to have a child with her and they break up. Denny speculates with Alan about the nature of the relationship between Shirley and new boss Carl Sack.
