Episode 9 - The Ultimate Weapons to Kill Goku

After Androids 17 and 18 mutiny on Dr. Gero, they activate Android 16 and go after Goku. Vegeta follows the Androids while Goku continues to fight the virus as Chi-Chi cooks for him. Gohan stops so that Bulma and Yajirobe can change Trunks' diaper.

Episode 10 - No. 18 Has No Blind Spot

Vegeta fights Android 18 while the rest of the Z Fighters fly toward the battle; Gohan continues to fly Bulma, Trunks, and Yajirobe home; Maron surfs while she stays at Roshi's house.

Episode 11 - Is This the End of the Z Senshi!?

The rest of the Z Fighters jump in to help Vegeta, and Android 17 joins the fight; Turtle saves Maron from drowning and fights off two guys who are trying to pick her up.

Krillin heals everyone with senzu beans. Vegeta flies off in a rage and Piccolo goes to the Lookout to speak with Kami. Krillin, Trunks, and Tien go to pick up Goku, who is still fighting the virus while Maron leaves Roshi's house. Gohan drops off Bulma, baby Trunks, and Yajirobe at Dr. Brief's house.

Episode 13 - The Artificial Humans Draw Near Goku

Piccolo tries to convince Kami to merge with him; Tien goes to pick up Chiaotzu while Krillin and Trunks continue on to pick up Goku; the Androids hijack a truck, and they run afoul of a motorcycle gang.

Episode 14 - Bulma Unveils a Mystery

Release Date: 13 May 1992

Tien picks up Chiaotzu while the rest of the Z Fighters fly to Roshi's house as Trunks thinks about his world and how to defeat the Androids. Goku dreams about the Androids and the Androids in turn continue driving to Goku's house. Vegeta vows to ascend to an even more powerful level and Bulma reports a strange finding to Krillin and Trunks.

Episode 15 - The Discovery of an Evil Egg!!

Start of the "Imperfect Cell Saga". Trunks, Gohan, and Bulma investigate the 2nd time machine; Goku is flown to Roshi's house; the Androids continue driving to Goku's hose; Kami, while considering Piccolo's suggestion, tells of a new disturbance that he senses.

Episode 16 - Birth of a Super Namekian!!

The Androids battle with the police after No. 18 steals a dress; Bulma and everyone at Roshi's house, while watching the news on the television, see a crisis unfold at Gingertown; Piccolo and Kami merge.

Episode 17 - The Monster Who Possesses Goku's Ki

Piccolo faces the creature in Gingertown; the Z Warriors sense the creature's power level, but they can't determine who or what it is, sensing him as a combination of their friends and foes; Trunks and Krillin fly to Gingertown; Android No. 16 picks up Piccolo's and the creature's power levels.

Episode 18 - His Name Is Artificial Human Cell

Release Date: 10 Jun. 1992

The creature grabs Piccolo, draining his life force as a group of tanks enters the city and shoots at him. Also, the creature explains his origin to Piccolo. Meanwhile, Goku lies in bed recovering, and Gohan watches the TV news report on the crisis.

Episode 19 - Cell Escapes Into the City!

Krillin and Trunks arrive to help Piccolo, but Cell leaves to recharge his energy before he takes on the Androids. Also, Piccolo explains what Cell is to the other Z Warriors.

Episode 20 - The Secret of Cell's Birth! What Lies Below the Laboratory!?

Vegeta leaves to train by himself; Trunks and Krillin go to Gero's lab to destroy the fetus Cell from the present so that he cannot be born; Piccolo and Tien chase after the matured Cell from the future; Cell goes to Nickytown to restore his energy.

Episode 21 - Go Beyond Super Saiya-jin!!

Cell runs amok in Nickytown; Krillin saves a young girl and her little brother and fights Cell; Piccolo and Tien arrive to help Krillin; Trunks contemplates recent events as he looks for Vegeta; the Androids drive through the woods while looking for Goku's house; the Z Warriors look for Cell; Goku awakens.

Episode 22 - In the Room of Spirit and Time...

Goku rounds up Gohan, Trunks, and Vegeta and takes them to the Lookout, where they will train in the Time Chamber in hopes of reaching a level beyond that of a Super Saiyan. Meanwhile, the other Z Warriors look for Cell in an amusement park. Also, the Androids continue looking for Goku.

Episode 23 - Piccolo vs Artificial Human No. 17

Piccolo fights Android 17. Meanwhile, Goku and Gohan wait for Trunks and Vegeta to finish their training in the Time Chamber. Also, Bulma works on deciphering the schematics for the Androids.

Episode 24 - Cell - Prologue to Perfection

Piccolo continues fighting Android 17 as Cell flies toward them. Meanwhile, Bulma finishes deciphering the Android schematics, and Goku and Gohan continue waiting on Trunks and Vegeta.

Vegeta fights Cell while Trunks recalls his experiences in the Time Chamber. Meanwhile, Goku trains Gohan in the Chamber.

Episode 32 - A Challenge to Cell's Perfect Form

Vegeta continues his fight with Cell. In the Time Chamber, Goku trains his Kamehameha Wave, and Gohan convinces Goku to let him train harder after having a dream of almost becoming a Super Saiyan.

Cell tries to convince Vegeta to allow him to absorb Android 18 in order to reach his perfect form, thus giving Vegeta the challenge he desires. Meanwhile, Krillin tries to get close enough to the Androids to use the remote and destroy 18, but his feelings for her get in the way.

Cell completes his transformation. In the Time Chamber, Gohan pushes Goku to train him harder.

Episode 44 - Son Goku's Composure!? Just Rest and Wait for the Cell Games

Goku asks Korin to compare his strength to Cell's. He and Gohan then pick up Chi-Chi from Roshi's, and they spend the rest of the day relaxing and fishing with Krillin. Meanwhile, Cell trains in space.

Episode 45 - The Girl, the Lie, and Gohan's Decision

While on an errand for his mom, Gohan stops in Chazke Village. He finds that Mr. Bourbon, the tycoon who runs the city, has built a shelter to protect the town from Cell, and that he manipulates the townspeople into doing what he wants. To make matters worse, he has hired General Tao as his right hand man. Along with an elderly shopkeeper named Lao and Lao's granddaughter Lime, Gohan tries to convince the people of Bourbon's and Tao's treachery, and that the shelter won't protect them from Cell.

Episode 46 - The Hidden Strength!! When Gohan Was a Baby

Chi-Chi kicks Goku out of the house so that she can prepare for Gohan's birthday party. She looks through a photo album and thinks back on how she and Goku chose Gohan's name. Meanwhile, Goku fishes with Krillin, and he recalls a time when he lost control of Gohan's stroller.

Episode 47 - Find a New Kami-sama!!

Piccolo emerges from the Time Chamber, and Vegeta enters; Bulma works on Android 16; Goku, Gohan, Krillin, and Chi-Chi have a picnic; the military attacks Cell; Goku sets out to find a new guardian for Earth.

Episode 48 - Dende's New Occupation!! The Dragonballs Revived

Goku takes Dende to the Lookout, then takes Gohan and Krillin to see him. At the Lookout, Dende recreates the dragon balls, and Goku goes after them. Meanwhile, Mr. Hercule Satan, the champion of the most recent World Martial Arts Tournament, announces his entry into the Cell Games.

Cell explains how he traveled to this time-line and how he reached his perfect form, and Goku telepathically gives Gohan an inspirational speech. Meanwhile, Fortune Teller Baba lets Chi-Chi watch the battle through her crystal ball.

Gohan and Cell match energy waves, and each one struggles for control. Also, the other Z Fighters help Gohan.

Episode 67 - I Will Carry on in the Next World!! Farewell with a Smile

Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Piccolo take Android 18, Gohan, and Trunks to the Lookout so that Dende can heal them, and they all summon the eternal dragon to undo the damage that Cell caused. Vegeta, angered by the death of Goku and embarrassed by his inferiority to Gohan and Cell, vows to never fight again. Hercule Satan takes the credit for Cell's defeat.

Episode 68 - A New Day Will Come... Father! I'll Hang in There

After Krillin uses the second wish to remove the bomb from inside Android 18, the Z Fighters all go their separate ways--Gohan goes home to tell Chi-Chi about Goku's death, and he spends time with the Ox King. Trunks goes back to his own time; and Piccolo remains at the Lookout. Meanwhile, Hercule Satan displays his martial arts skills on TV, and Goku and King Kai decide to build a house in Other World.

Episode 69 - End It All Again!! I Will Protect the Future

Back in his own time, Trunks fights the Androids and Cell. Meanwhile, Goku and King Kai decide to travel across Other World.

Episode 70 - The Awesome Guy from the Next World

Release Date: 28 Jul. 1993

Start of the "Great Saiyaman Saga". After King Kai explains to Goku that there are actually four Kais and one Grand Kai, they go to visit the Grand Kai's planet. There, Kai has words with West Kai, Goku meets a fighter named Pikkon, and Goku and Pikkon go to hell to stop Cell and Frieza, who are running amok.

Episode 71 - I'm the Greatest in the Next World! The Great Assembly of Successive Generation's Hero's

Release Date: 11 Aug. 1993

Goku meets the other warriors from the North quadrant, and the other Kais give King Kai grief for being dead. The Kais propose a tournament to be held amongst the warriors on the planet, and Goku races East Kai to determine if he deserves to be included.
