Release Date: 18 Sep. 1975A sniper is randomly shooting people in a high-rise building and threatens to continue doing it until he is paid a million dollars. Stone and Keller try to identify and stop the assailant, but Stone believes the methods of the acting captain in charge of the investigation are wrong for the situation.

Episode 3 - No Place to Hide
Release Date: 25 Sep. 1975The wife of a prison inmate is shot and killed in a laundromat in what looks like a professional hit. Stone and Keller determine that it was the work of a prison gang that is using outside enforcers to force inmates' wives to help them smuggle drugs into the prison. Another wife of a prisoner is now targeted to be made to do what the murdered woman would not.

Release Date: 16 Oct. 1975Stone is hit by a getaway van after a robbery, but manages to shoot one of the robbers. When the man dies, his wife and accomplice vows revenge against Stone.

Episode 7 - Murder by Proxy
Release Date: 23 Oct. 1975An old neighborhood has suddenly seen a huge upsurge in violent crime committed against its homeowners, including murder. Keller and Stone find that it may be tied to the fact that all the people in the neighborhood had been approached by a real estate agent making substantially high offers to buy their properties, and that the agent is working for a major corporation.

Episode 10 - Dead Air
Release Date: 13 Nov. 1975The murder of a pregnant girl leads Stone and Keller to arrogant radio host Terry Vine, who has a large female fanbase. The dead girl claimed to be pregnant with Vine's baby, giving him a motive for murder, and after her blackmailing roommate also turns up dead, Keller is convinced Vine is the killer.

Release Date: 20 Nov. 1975When a gang member is killed, it signals a turf war between two rival street gangs. Meanwhile, two youths locate a missing crate of guns and decide to sell them to the gang members.

Episode 12 - The Cat's Paw
Release Date: 4 Dec. 1975Stone is assigned to partner on a cat burglary case with an inspector he has become romantically involved with and even proposed to. But when a woman is apparently murdered by the burglar, Stone's relationship with his new partner is strained as he believes the burglar is the killer, and she does not believe the murder fits the burglar's pattern.

Episode 13 - Spooks for Sale
Release Date: 11 Dec. 1975Surveillance is the game here. But a break-in ends up with the night watchman dead of a heart attack. Tom Selleck although not in the opening credits, he plays a major role. During the lunch scene they are eating at Sinbad's Resturant at Pier 2 in San Francisco, which is still there even today. I had my wedding reception there in 1984, great place.

Release Date: 18 Dec. 1975A student at a prestigious boys' school, under pressure by his father to get into Harvard, kills a professor when he will not change the failing grade he was going to give him in one class.

Release Date: 8 Jan. 1976Bill Bixby places a guy who like to follow the police scanner. He wants to be a cop, but cannot hack it, and ends up taking the law into his own hands. And a good cop gets blamed.

Episode 16 - The Honorable Profession
Release Date: 15 Jan. 1976After being shot by robbers who were holding up a store, a young police officer is treated by a doctor who was on the scene. Unfortunately, the officer later dies, and the doctor becomes the only one who can identify the robbers. But when Stone and Keller try to call him, they find that he had to be using a phony name. The man has been practicing using the name of several different doctors.

Episode 18 - Underground
Release Date: 29 Jan. 1976When the brother of a cop is killed along with the mobster he was working for, the young officer is assigned to work undercover as a bookie to find out who ordered the hit. Stone, who is ordered to tell no one else about the man's assignment. is concerned that the officer is too concerned with revenge to handle the job effectively.

Release Date: 19 Feb. 1976Two judges and two attorneys have been murdered, with a book about disbarment procedures found nearby. The detectives find that the killer is a disbarred attorney's son, who is executing those he blames for destroying his father.

Episode 20 - Clown of Death
Release Date: 26 Feb. 1976A terminally ill circus rigger is killed in his hospital bed by someone made up as a clown. At first, the detectives suspect the victim's brother may have done it as a mercy killing, but when the brother is murdered as well, suspicion shifts to the nephew of the two men.

Release Date: 4 Mar. 1976This pilot for the series "Bert D'Angelo Superstar" (which had started its regular run two weeks earlier, and was a total bomb in the ratings) gives Mira Sorvino's dad a role to match his weight and ego: he plays a New York City detective who comes to San Francisco in search of a back-home cop killer, and decides to stay when the villain is caught.

Release Date: 11 Mar. 1976A field worker tries to get a job in San Francisco, and he does, but moments later there is a raid by the immigration service and officer is killed.

Episode 23 - Runaway
Release Date: 18 Mar. 1976A 15-year-old runaway girl comes to the apartment of the father she hasn't seen in years, only to find a man dead inside. When she finds out her father is not the dead man but possibly the killer, she still continues to search for him, not knowing that he is also being hunted by the brother of the dead man, who plans to kill him.
